Searching for a tropical paradise!

posted by Iris Tuomenoksa
I received the email below from Tracee, who is wanting to relocate and integrate in a close community. If you are an Option minded person who lives in an tropical paradise, who knows a community focussed on happiness settled in a tropical paradise, or wants to be part of such a community, feel free to use the comment space to contact Tracee. You can also email me at iris@lifetransitioncounselor.com and I will forward your email to her.

P.S. Tracee, I live in paradise, but it is not tropical! I believe I would be open to visit your little paradise once in a while (for holidays!) when you're all settled!

Hello everyone!

I have recently been searching for somewhere to relocate to, somewhere warm, somewhere with palm trees, somewhere with a gentle ocean breeze. And I would love this somewhere to have a group of people that was interested in supporting each other - through group meetings - in their efforts to make happiness their top priority! I completed Mentor certifcation at the Option Institute - truly "a place of miracles" - this past January (a huge dream come true for me) and now I am looking to move to a tropical paradise. I have been sending out e-mails and searching the web trying to find a location that may already have a group that meets regularly. Wouldn't it be great to live around a community of people interested in making happiness their top priority?!? In a warm climate?!? Does anyone else share this dream? Does anyone know of such a place? Does anyone want to help create such a place?

Love, Tracee<

As Iris hinted, any place can be paradise if one so wants, but Houston certainly has tropical weather aplenty. In particular, I live in a suburban setting with palm trees in sight, a couple lakes within a stone's throw and the bay/ocean within a mile. Galveston Island, about a half-hour down I-45 would certainly qualify. An Option-minded community is likely just a matter of spreading the word. I know of at least one past Son-Rise program volunteer who lives in the area, and more that we will be training in the coming months...How does that sound, Tracee?

Iris - Thank you so,so much for posting my e-mail! And I would love to have you come visit my tropical paradise!

Sree - I have been to Galveston Island and it is beautiful. Thank you for your description/suggestions! I am definitely adding Galveston to my list of areas to consider. You paint a beautiful picture of your suburb, especially with the addition of the lovely Son-Rise program volunteers! Love, Tracee
